a) No, Gopalan's argument is not correct because their children can have A, B, AB or O blood group.
b) The genotype of the father will be IAIA or IAi and that of the mother will be IBIB or IBi.
Hence the genotype of the child can be
1. IAIB (Blood group AB) or
2. IAi (Blood group A)
3. IBi (Blood group B)
4. ii (Blood group O)
