Government run various campaigns to provide information for the same, how to prevent the diseases, symptoms of diseases and how they can be cured.
Banners are made to provide awareness. Social media is performing a very important role in this. Various add films are made to provide awareness. Information is being provided through newspapers.
Free treatment is provided in government hospitals for many diseases.
Epidemics are controlled by immunization with a vaccine, maintaining personal hygiene, public sanitation, nutrition and health services. (Epidemic disease is the term used to describe an infectious disease that develops and spreads rapidly to many people. )
