Let his usual speed be $v$

As distance to his office is same in both cases and as $distance=speed\times time$

$\Rightarrow$ $vx=\left(\frac{4}{5}v\right)(x+22.5)$

$\Rightarrow$ $5x=4x+90$

$x=90$ minutes
