Solution

The correct option is B Theca externa and theca interna
The Graafian follicle is a fluid-filled, spherical vesicle in the ovary of a mammal, containing an oocyte attached to its wall, and is responsible for oestrogen production in the ovary. The layer of ovarian follicles is called as theca follicle. It is composed of two layers i.e., theca externa and theca interna. Theca Interna is a highly vascularized layer of collagen fibre, fibroblast and the cuboidal cell which acts as endocrine cells of the ovary. It secretes androgen which is the precursor of oestrogen. Theca externa, the outer layer, loose connective tissue with smooth muscle cells. Thus, the answer is option C.
