Step 1: Finding the values of input and output or x and y coordinates.

Make an input-output table:

Input x

Output, y=-2x+6

Ordered pair

-1

y=-2×-1+6=2+6=8

(-1,8)

y=-2×0+6=6

(0,6)

y=-2×1+6=-2+6=4

(1,4)


Step 2: Plotting the graph of the function y=-2x+6.

Using the above ordered pair mark the coordinates on the graph to get points.

Then draw a straight line passing through that points, we get;
