We know that,
Weight = Mass $\times$ Acceleration due to gravity
Acceleration due to gravity on earth = $9.8 m / s^{2}$
Therefore, weight of a 10 kg object on earth $= 10 \times 9.8 = 98 N$
Weight of an object on the moon $= \frac{1}{6} \times$ Weight of the object on earth
$= \frac{1}{6} \times 98 = 16.3 N$
