Elements present in Group 18 of the periodic table are termed as noble gases or inert gases. It includes Helium (He), Neon (Ne), Argon (Ar), Krypton (Kr), Xenon (Xe), and Radon (Ra).
Due to the presence of a completely filled outermost shell, inert gases have zero tendency to accept or lose any electron. Hence, they are chemically inactive in nature.
