4 tens is 4 × 10 = 40

So , it is more than 40 and less than 50
Implies , the number lie between 40 and 50 [ 1 mark ]

The tens digit is two more the ones digit . Together the digit have a sum of 6.
Between 40 and 50 there is a number which tens digit is two more than the ones digit .i.e.
⇒ 42
