Solution

Gymnosperms are group of vascular plants whose seeds are not enclosed by a ripened ovary (fruit) and they bear no flowers, no fruits. Gymnosperms have reproductive structure called cones which are unisexual i.e, microspores and megaspores are produced by male and female cones. As ovule are exposed in gymnosperms, the microspores make a direct contact with the ovule and get fertilised. After fertilisation ovule further developed into naked seeds.
