Equivalentweight=molecularweight.
E1=82g equivalent1.
H3PO3=2H+(Na2HPO3).
Thus, equivalentweight=molecularweight2.
E2=41g equivalent1.
So, ratio of E1/E2=82/41=2/1.
So, value of x+y=2+1=3.
