Massive amount of gaseous exchange takes place in the leaves through these pores(stomata)for photosynthesis but imp to note that gaseous exchange occur across the surface of stem root and leaves as well.

does these stem and roots also have stomata for gaseous exchange or something else is responsible for it?

Yes Stems and roots also has Stomatal openings but is very less concentrated on the surface as a result respiration occurs very less in these places.
