Solution

The correct option is C bone marrow; thymus
T lymphocytes are classified as agranulocytes due to lack of cytoplasmic granules. T lymphocytes have the ability to recognise infected cells and alerts phagocytic cells. Haematopoiesis of lymphocytes begins in bone marrow. Later the cells which are the precursors of T lymphocytes migrate to the thymus gland and undergo complete maturation. The letter ‘T’ in T lymphocytes stands for thymus which is the maturation site for these cells.
