Let the number of deers =x
Number of deers grazing =x2
Number of deers playing =34(xx2)=38x
Number of deers drinking water =9
Thus, x2+3x8+9=x
4x+3x+72=8x
x=72
Thus, number of deers grazing =36
and number of deers drinking playing = 27
Thus, difference =3627=9
Therefore, it is a multiple of 9.
