Let the width of rectangle be 'x'and length of rectangle be (x+4)Acc. to question,12×Perimeter of garden=3612×2l+b=36x+x+4=362x=36-42x=32x=322=16Thus the width of rectangle is 16mand length of rectangle is x+4= 16+4=20m
