Solution

The correct option is D Hymenoptera
Parthenogenesis is a method of reproduction in which the unfertilized egg develops into an embryo without fertilization and it can result in haploid or diploid parthenogenesis. When there is no contribution from the male gamete, then it is diploid parthenogenesis. Under stressful conditions, some females form eggs, that undergo reductional division resulting in eggs with a haploid number of chromosomes. If there are no males in the population, then the haploid eggs can develop into haploid males and this is haploid parthenogenesis.
Hymenoptera is the largest order of insects and includes wasps, bees, and ants. And this order is known for haploid parthenogenesis.
So, the correct answer is option A.
