Solution

The correct option is A 1003%
The cost price of the bicycle will be the sum of cost price of the bicycle and the amount spent on maintenance. Hence,

Cost Price (C.P.) = ₹ (4000+500) = ₹ 4500.

Selling Price (S.P.) = ₹ 6000.

Profit = (S.P.) - (C.P.) = ₹ (6000-4500) = ₹ 1500.

Profit% = ProfitC.P×100%
Profit% = (15004500×100)%
Profit% = 1003%
