What corrections would you suggest and why so that he can grow what he wants? [3 MARKS]

I would advice Harsha to undertake extensive landscaping to make his sowing ground even. For with a sloping ground the chance of soil run offs, including water run offs are high. He could also take recourse to terrace gardening and excavate his current soil profile and revamp it with loamy soil .That is because the mineral in a loamy soil ideally is about 40% sand, 40% silt and 20% clay by weight. The soil's texture, especially its ability to retain nutrients and water are crucial inputs to agriculture. Hence it would be best suited for growing lentils.
