Solution

Part 1: Introduction to sewage
Sewage is the liquid dometic municipal waste that enters the sewer lines from our homes.

Part 2: Sewage disposal in cities
Sewage from our homes through the sewer lines goes to a sewage treatment plant (STP). In the STP the sewage undergoes the primary and secondary treatment so that the particulate matter and the pathogens are removed. This treated sewage is then released into lakes.

Part 3: Sewage disposal in the villages
Sewage from the houses enter the silt chamber to get the silt removed. This ensures that only water enters the soak chamber. The soak chamber is made up of a large pit and has a filtration unit that segregates solid waste, treats the water and recharges the groundwater.
