• Total length of the marathon race = 40 km
= (40$\times$1000) m
= 40000 m
Distance covered in 1 round = 400 m
Number of rounds to be taken to complete the race = (40000$÷$400)
= 100
So, if you run a marathon on a stadium track, you will have to complete 100 rounds !
