Solution

Find the HCF of co-prime numbers

Factor- In mathematics, a number divides precisely that number and leaves no remainder is called a factor of the respective number.

Co-prime numbers- Co-prime numbers are sometimes known as "roughly prime numbers" or "mutually prime numbers." If the only common factor of two numbers, a and b, is 1, then a and b are co-prime numbers.

For example: Assume two prime numbers 2,3.

By factorization,

2=1×23=1×3

Here the common factor of 2 and 3 will be 1. So, the HCF of 2,3 will be 1.

Hence 2 and 3 are co-prime numbers as well.

Hence, the HCF of two co-prime numbers is always 1.
