Solution

The correct option is D Nor does he drink
Coordinating conjunctions are and/or/but/nor/as/for/so. When they are used to connect two independent clauses together they should be accompanied by a comma, which comes before the coordinating conjunction. 'Nor' appears as a coordinator paired correlatively with 'neither', or non-correlatively as a variant of or in negative contexts. When negating the second of two negative independent clauses, nor (not or) must be used. In the given sentence, two negative independent clauses are used. Thus while negating the second clause 'nor' must be used. Thus option B is incorrect. Besides,'neither' is always followed by 'or'. The first part of the sentence uses the auxiliary verb 'does', since the second part of the sentence is an alternative to the first it must be in the same syntax so there must be the auxiliary verb 'does' in the second part as well. Thus option D is also incorrect as there is no presence of auxiliary verb. When 'nor' is non-correlatively used we will have to use an auxiliary verb and put the subject between the auxiliary and the main verb. Since the auxiliary verb is used after 'nor, Option C is correct and option A is ruled out.
