Banda Singh Bahadur was captured and brought to Delhi by tying him in chains. Each day after the next six months after his capture, his warriors were executed by the Mughals. He was asked to choose Islam and save himself. He denied and they killed his son in front of him. Before his execution, he told the judge that he deserved this because he had failed his Guru. He was tortured with red-hot iron rods and barbarically killed by the Mughals.
