Organisms that lay eggs are called oviparous. Both hens and frogs are oviparous. However, they exhibit different types of fertilisation.
In Hens internal fertilisation takes place. The fertilised egg develops inside the female body but the development of chick occurs outside the body.
On the other hand in frogs both fertilisation and development of zygote to young ones occur outside the body.
