Hi maam
Maam we have learned that lysosomes digest foreign materials such as viruses etc.
Then why don't the lysosomes digest deadly viruses such covid19?

Dear student, Lysosomes can kill only those components which it can recognize as unwanted. Some viruses are not marked by the lysosomes as they do not contain the specific markers (a way to escape) and hence are not killed by the lysosomes.
