Please clarify this asap.

Is temperature a scalar or vector quantitiy?

Temperature by itself is a scalar quantity. Though the temperature can be rising or lowering in a certain direction though that would require a much much greater distance. However, the temperature itself can not have the force behind it as it is a resultant variable.

So, temperature remains a scalar quantity
