Diffusion is the process of movement of molecules from one place to another.
Diffusion is directly proportional to temperature and inversely proportional to the density of the substance.
On increasing the temperature, the diffusion increases, and on increasing the density of a substance, the diffusion decreases, and vice versa.
Hence, higher the density of a substance, lesser will be the rate of diffusion
