Solution

The correct option is C

B has to be added to make the solution neutral

The extract of red cabbage turns green when mixed with A, indicates that A is basic and when mixed with B, it turns pink, which indicates that B is acidic.
But, when a solution of A and B is taken it turns red litmus to blue, this means that the solution is basic in nature. To turn this solution neutral, more acid is required. So more B should be added to make it neutral.
