Open in App
Solution

Anti-diuretic hormone which is also called as Vasopressin (Anti Diuretic Hormone) controls the exchange of water in renal tubules. It is produced in hypothalamus of the brain.
It increases the amount of solute free water reabsorbed back into the blood stream from the filtrate in the renal tubules and results in excretion of concentrated urine.
