How and why do monosubstituted alicyclic compounds not exhibit positional isomerism?

Monosubstituted hexane compounds has following structure as shown in above image.
In this compound, all the positions of X will be same, i.e., X being on any carbon from 1 to 6 will give the same compound as all those carbons are similar with sp3 hybridization.
Same is the case with other alicyclic compounds due to which they do not exhibit position isomerism.
