Question

How are 0.5 mole of Na2CO3 are different from 0.50 mole of Na2CO3

Open in App
Solution

There is no difference between 0.5mole and 0.50 mole both are the same

if it is 0.50M (molarity) and 0.5mole Na2CO3 then the difference is :
Here 0.50 mol of sodium carbonate refers to the number of moles whereas 0.50 M refers to the molarity of sodium carbonate.

Number of moles = given mass/molar mass
Molarity = No. of moles / volume of solution in L
hope it helps
