  3. Aves is the class that includes all the birds.
  4. Their forelimbs are modified into wings that are covered with feathers.
  5. The hindlimbs are engaged with the purpose of walking, perching, and swimming.
  6. The skeleton is composed of pneumatic bones which are filled with large air cavities. This makes the body very light.
  7. These features help them with the flight.
  8. Examples: pigeon, crow, sparrow, parrot, duck, etc.
