How are high temperatures achieved in solar cookers?
mirrors are used to reflect sunlight on the the cooker thus more heat.
Solar cookers achieve higher temperature by using mirrors to focus the rays of the sun. The rays of sunlight are converged using a concave mirror thus generating more heat. Heat generated depends on the intensity of light and the efficiency of the mirrors used.
