Question

How are humans bilaterally symmetrical if they have only one heart on the left side. If we divide the rest of the body into 2 identical halves, the heart will not divide and remain on the left side. This query struck me when I was watching the video Kingdom Animalia II.P

Solution

The heart is a muscular organ about the size of a fist, located just behind and slightly left of the breastbone. That is why heart remains on the left side
Dividing the body exactly into 2 parts is completly hypothetical. We explain this inorder to make the concept heart is tilted towards left .
