How are liquids and gasses similar to each other?

Liquid and gases are both termed fluid. there are the following similarities between the properties of liquids and gases:

  1. Shape:- Both gases and liquids do not have a fixed shape
  2. Comprehensibility:- Liquids, and gases both can be compressed with the application of pressure.
  3. Inter-molecular space:- Both liquid and gas molecules are tightly packed and there is a lot of inter-molecular space between the molecules of liquid and gas.
  4. Flow:- Solids cannot flow but liquids and gas flow, they are called fluids.
