How are map more useful than globe?

Maps are two dimensional representation of different regions in the world. We can say that maps are the representation or drawing of earth's surface drawn according to the scale.
Map is more useful than globe because map gives detailed information about a region on the earth as it represents the physical features of a particular region. On the other hand , a globe can be called as a duplicate earth , which shows accurate areas and distances between various places on the earth.
A map is easy to use and also portable whereas a globe is not . It is easy to identify regions on a map as compared to that on a globe.
