Dear student
A natural pearl is the one that is formed due to entry of some irritant particle into the space present between mantle and shell of oysters. These particles stimulate the secretion of liquid which is deposited in form of layers on the surface of particle leading to formation of pearl.
An artificial pearl is process of induction of pearl formation by insertion of sand grain into the space present between mantle and shell of oysters. This is followed by deposition of liquid and formation of pearl.
