  1. In order for a plant to grow, it requires suitable conditions.
  2. Plants like maple, drumstick, and fruits have wing-like structures. The seeds of these plants can be dispersed in a suitable environment with the help of wind.
  3. In Urena and Xanthium, fruits are thorny and thus can stick to animal bodies. Thus such seeds are dispersed with the help of animals.
  4. In some cases light seeds of grasses or hairy seeds , hairy fruit is carried to far-off places by the wind.
  5. In the case of coconut, which has large fruits. Such seeds are dispersed by water.
  6. Castor and balsam seeds are dispersed when fruits burst with sudden jerks.

  2. Avoid competition for water, minerals, and nutrients
  3. Spread to new habitats.
