When there is a loan component in the share capital,shareholders are likely to have benefit of higher rate of return in the share capital.This is because loan carries a fixed charge that is interest which is deductible from Earnings before tax.Although this is possible when the rate of return of the compny is greater than the rate of interest of borrowed capital.
