Question

How are some animals adapted to live in desert?

Open in App
Solution

There are some animals like rats and snakes that do not have long legs like camels. This prevents them from staying away from the effect of heat during the day. Hence, such animals stay in burrows that are present deep in the sand. These animals come out of their burrows only during the night when the temperature is low.
