$1 W a t t = \frac{1 J o u l e}{1 s e c o n d} 1 W a t t = 1 \frac{J}{s} 1 W a t t = 1 J s^{- 1}$
Hence, units of power and work are related as, $1 W a t t = 1 J s^{- 1}$ .
