How can a guitar produce sounds of different frequencies?

Solution

The sounds of different frequencies are produced by manipulating the length of the vibrating part of the string by holding down the strings. If the length of the vibrating part of the string is less, high frequency sound is produced. Conversely, if the length of the vibrating part of the string is more, lower frequency sound is produced.
