How can fluid exert pressure?

  1. The fluid applies pressure on the walls of any container.
  2. Molecules of the fluid are always in motion and due to their motion they continuously strike the walls of the container due to this strike force is exerted on the wall and also pressure is exerted.
  3. When fluid pressure increases, it means the pressure it applies to the walls of the container increases.
