To make alum at home

1. Gather the necessary materials- To manufacture the crystal of alum. we need alum, two glass jars, a spoon, hot water, a long wood pencil, some clear string, plastic wrap, food colouring, and safety glasses for our eyes.
2. Make a saturated alum solution- To manufacture the crystal, prepare a solution of hot and alum. As alum dissolves in hot water easily. Then, add food colour to a solution with continuous stirring.
3. Transfer the saturated solution into the clean jar-The solution is then transferred to the clean jar.
4. Cover the lid of the jar- Cover the clean jar with plastic wrap to prevent the entry of dust particles. Then, leave the jar disturbed for $24$hours.
5. Pour the solution only into a clean jar- After 24 hours crystals are formed at the bottom of the jar. Then, transfer the solution to the new jar and choose the crystals of alum.
