How can overpopulation affect an ecosystem?

Overpopulation:

  1. Overpopulation means that the ecosystem has more number of organism than it can sustain.
  2. If an ecosystem is overpopulated it will face many problems most importantly scarcity of food and place.
  3. To sustain such a big population there will be deforestation which will eventually lead to pollution.
  4. It will also lead to overexploitation of resources in that ecosystem.
  5. This overexploitation of resources will soon lead to scarcity of resources.
