Question

How can't gas cylinder be half- filled.

Open in App
Solution

Dear student, As we know gasses don't have any specific shape or volume and take the shape of the container in which they are kept . So even if we try to fill a gas cylinder partially , we won't be able to do that as the gas would expand ( due to very less intermolecular forces of attraction ) and fill up the whole cylinder.
