Osteomalacia is a disease caused by thedeficiency of
vitamin D.

In this disease the bones become very soft and get fractured easily. Muscle weakness, numbness of arms and legs, spasm of hand and feet are some other symptoms of this disease.

Adequate exposure to sunlight and taking vitamin D supplements may help to cure this disease.
