Question

How can we know the density of a random " Form " .
(By using archemedies principle)

Solution

Dear Student ,
We know that the density of a material is , Density(ρ)=MassMVolumeV
Now from the Archimedes principle let a body of weight W1 in air is immersed in a liquid of density ρ then after fully immersing the body in the liquid the weight of the body becomes W2 .
Now the volume of the liquid displaced is , V=W1-W2ρ = volume of the body .
Now the density of the body is , D=W1V=W1×ρW1-W2
