Prevention of the following diseases:

A. Cholera:

  1. It is a bacterial infection caused by the agent Vibrio cholerae.
  2. It spreads via infected water and contaminated species.
  3. It causes dehydration and watery diarrhea.

Prevention:

It can be prevented by maintaining a high degree of personal hygiene and good sanitation practices.

B. Typhoid:

  1. It is also a bacterial infection caused by the pathogen Salmonella typhi.
  2. It can lead to weakness and intestinal infections.
  3. It lasts between seven to fourteen days.
  4. It causes typhoid fever and rashes.
  5. Typhoid is commonly spread via contaminated water and food.

Prevention:

It can be prevented by eating cooked food, drinking boiled water, getting vaccinated against the disease, etc.

C. Hepatitis A:

  1. It is a viral disease caused by Hepatovirus A.
  2. It attacks the liver and is a highly contagious disease.
  3. The viral disease can spread from coming in close contact with the infected person.
  4. It causes yellow skin, diarrhea, stomach pain, etc.
  5. It can also cause jaundice.
  6. It is not a chronic disease but can cause heavy damage to the liver.

Prevention:

It can be prevented by consuming boiled water and getting vaccinated against the disease.
