We reduce a fraction to its lowest term by divide numerator and denominator to its greatest common factor.

Example:-$\frac{32}{80}$

Now divide $32\&80$ by its greatest common factor.

The greatest common factor of $32\&80$ is $16$.

$$\begin{gathered} =\frac{32}{80} \\ =\frac{{\displaystyle \frac{32}{16}}}{{\displaystyle \frac{80}{16}}} \\ =\frac{2}{5} \end{gathered}$$

Hence, $\frac{2}{5}$ is the lowest term of fraction $\frac{32}{80}$
