Dear student, we can separate the constituents of air through fractional distillation. We can separate the mixture of sand and salt by dissolving salt in water and pouring the liquid away from sand and then recovering the salt by evaporating water.we can separate acetone from water by fractional distillation. We can separate copper sulphate from water by the process of evaporation in which water evaporates leaving behind copper sulphate.Thanks and regards.
